COVP, the first manually curated resource to provide comprehensive information on the entire repertoire of structural glycoproteins from coronavirus genomes of betacoronavirus genera including the SARS-1,MERS‐CoV and SARS-CoV-2 strains. The database provides complete functional annotation of the proteins highlighting fourteen sequence-structural properties. Furthermore, many conserved promiscuous T-cell and B-cell epitopes were predicted for each protein that might elicit immune response along with their conservancy analysis, allergenicity, antigenicity, toxicity, hydropathicity, hydrophilicity, charge, molecular weight and population coverage analysis. In addition, the 3D structure of the epitopes along with the docked epitope-HLA binding complex is available for further analysis. COVP provides a user-friendly interface with built in tools for BLAST similarity search, compare tool for cross genome comparison and tools for phylogenetic and multiplesequence alignment. COVP will certainly be an important resource in coronaviruses research.
